GENERAL POLICY

 

WELCOME TO THE CAVALRY: All our visitors are our esteemed guests and treated with care and respect. The Cavalry is a home stay and the environment is like of a home. We request you to take out some time and go through the following policies which we follow so that there is no inconvenience caused from either side. Some cardinal rules are given below and we will highly appreciate if these are followed in good spirit:

 

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE:

A) Check-In Time: 12 pm – 07 pm

B) Check-Out Time: 08 am – 11 am

1. Early check-in is subject to availability and convenience. A late check-out may be permissible and would be subject to room availability and on chargeable basis, check out up to 03:00 pm will attract a late check-out charge @ 30% of the base price of the room for the particular day. Beyond 03:00 pm the guest is expected to pay the entire tariff for the day.

2. As per Government regulations, it is mandatory for all our guests to share an identity proof (issued by Govt. of India and valid passports with visas for foreign guests) at the time of check-in. The homestay reserves the right to refuse entry if these documents are not provided.

3. The entire room tariff for the duration of the stay is payable during the time of check-in. Payment can be made either through Cash (INR), Credit/Debit Cards, Online Bank Transfer or through UPI method. Local or Outstation Cheques are not accepted. Any newly implemented or revised government taxes will be charged extra on the check-in date.

4. In case you wish to extend your stay, confirmation will be subject to room availability and complete payment to be done during the stay extension confirmation procedure.

5. Parties and gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited on hotel premises.

6. In the eventuality of any breakage / damage to the Homestay property, inadvertently or otherwise, by any action of the guest, the guest is expected to adequately compensate (monetarily) the Homestay for such loss.

7. Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times.

8. Guests who are traveling with elderly individuals, please note that our homestay’s accessibility is currently limited to stairways.

9. The Cavalry Abhay Niwas stipulates that guests’ visitors are required to meet them in designated areas such as the lobby or courtyard, and are strictly prohibited from entering guest rooms. It is imperative to note that The Cavalry Abhay Niwas retains the right to expel any additional occupants found in the room.

10. Consumption of liquor is strictly prohibited in the property. All rooms are Non-Smoking Rooms and if any guest is found in violation with the policy, they will be fined. However, there is a dedicated smoking area in the Property where guests can smoke.

11. As a measure to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, the homestay reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including removing guests from the property in situations where a guest’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate or possesses a threat to the well-being of others. Additionally, in cases of safety and medical emergencies, the homestay may take necessary measures to address the situation and ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.

12. Breakfast will be served in the Dinning Area. The timings are: 09:00 am – 10:30 am.

13. Any other meal ordered by our guests will also be served in the Dining area. In-Room Service of edibles is strictly prohibited.

14. We request our guests to help us in keeping our surroundings & Homestay premises clean and dispose off the litter and cigarette butts in designate bins / ashtrays.

15. The guests are requested to return the room key at the time of check out. In case of loss of key, the guest will be requested to compensate for the loss.

16. We request our guests to take care of their belongings. The Homestay will not be held responsible for any loss.

CANCELLATION POLICY

​

If a booking is cancelled 07 days before arrival date / Failure to arrive at our hotel will be treated as no-show and no refund will be given.

During blackout periods, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made at any time.

 

 

 

REFUND POLICY

​

All refunds will be processed within 14 working days.
